Hi, I'm Timo...

About Peachy Greens

Two years ago, I left my eight-year career as a journalist and moved back to my hometown to help care for my 95-year-old grandmother. Growing up, she was my best friend, and we spent every summer tending to her garden together. When I returned home, I needed something to get me outside and reconnect with the world, so I started helping a neighbor with her garden. Word spread quickly, and before I knew it, my personal gardening business, Peachy Greens, was born.

Gardening has always been more than just a hobby for me—it’s a way to bring life, beauty, and joy to a space. I love art, theatre, fashion, and architecture; I see gardening as another form of creative expression. I take pride in working closely with my clients to create and maintain gardens that feel personal, vibrant, and well-loved. Whether it’s reviving an overgrown yard or planting something new, I bring knowledge, passion, and a deep appreciation for the natural world to every project.

What I Do...

Personal Gardening Vs. Landscaping & Lawn Care

Gardening is personal. Unlike traditional landscapers or lawn care companies that focus on mowing, trimming, and large-scale installations, my work as a gardener is hands-on and tailored to each client’s unique property. I am part landscape designer, part arborist, part plant care specialist, part handyman, part lawn and ground maintenance—and, more often than not, part friend and elder companion.

Most of my clients are over the age of 65 and have spent decades building and caring for their beautiful properties. While they may no longer be able to take on the full workload of maintaining their gardens, they still cherish the art and hobby of gardening. That’s where I come in. Some clients prefer me to maintain their property independently, following their vision and guidance, while others enjoy working alongside me—doing what they love while I take on the demanding physical tasks.

While I can mow lawns and install full landscapes, my specialty is long-term, season-long care. I build relationships with my clients and their gardens, ensuring their outdoor spaces continue to thrive and evolve, season to season, in the way they’ve always envisioned.

Weekly, season-long gardening and lawn care service starts at $125 per week.

In addition to my weekly, season-long gardening clients, I also take on individual projects to help refresh, maintain, or enhance outdoor spaces.
